Rebooking and Cancellation Policy
As of June 1, 2025, The Classroom at GVM does not offer cash, credit or debit card refunds in case of customer cancellations.
In exceptional circumstances or in the case of not meeting our minimum # requirement to run a class, we reserve the right to cancel classes. Customers whose bookings are affected will be offered a suitable alternative.
Our classes require days of preparation and attention to the details of each individual class. While we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, we kindly ask that you provide us with advance notice to avoid additional rebooking fees.
Please carefully read the following information on our rebooking policy:
Rebooking a different class date:
- If you are changing your booking at minimum 7 days prior to your scheduled class date, no rebooking fee applies.
- If you are changing your booking within 2-7 days prior to your scheduled class date, a $10 rebooking fee per person applies in addition to your original ticket price. Rebooking fee payment is required before transferring your tickets to a new class.
- No date changes will be accepted with less than 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled class, therefore Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled class, as well as no-shows, forfeit the full ticket price. However, to avoid fees of any kind, you may also offer your tickets to friends or family members. In such case, please contact The Classroom at GVM to provide the new guest names before the class.

Unforeseen Circumstances:
Please note that it is the responsibility of the booked customer to arrange for suitable transportation before and after a class. The Classroom at GVM does not allow ticket refunds or rebooking requests due to weather, traffic conditions, or other special events happening in the area.
We kindly ask that you respect our policies as accepted at the time of booking. Our rebooking policy is in place to ensure that we can continue to provide exceptional service and maintain the highest standards for all of our guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming you to The Classroom at GVM.

Getting Here
There are two ways to access The Classroom at GVM.
1. Come through the main entrance of the store, walk to the bakery section and below the sign "BAKERY" you will see a sign pointing up the stairs to the Classroom. Once you reach the top of the stairs, walk down the hallway and the second door on your left leads you to The Classroom.
2. Drive or walk around the back of the store. You will see a parking lot over near the Post Office/Harvest Moon end of the building. There is a door there with signage for The Classroom. Walk up the stairs and The Classroom is right in front of you.
Mobility Impaired
What if I am mobility impaired? We have an elevator! Please email kirsty@saltspringcountrygrocer.com to let her know you will need to use the elevator. It is accessed by entrance #2(see above). The first time you use it, it is best to have someone with you who knows how it works.
Can't register online
If you are having trouble registering online, whether because something isn't working, you don't have a credit card, or you just can't figure it out, please contact Kirsty at kirsty@saltspringcountrygrocer.com or 250-537-4343 and she will do her best to help you out!
